GRACosway has unveiled a sweeping leadership refresh, promoting five senior leaders into its partnership group and appointing two experienced media and communications professionals to senior roles as the corporate affairs firm positions itself for its next phase of growth.

The changes include three new Partners in the Corporate and Financial Communications practice, a new Managing Partner for Public Affairs, multiple senior promotions and the creation of a senior advisory group. Long-serving executive Geoff Elliott will also step back from day-to-day management while remaining with the business in a senior advisory capacity.

New leadership group takes shape

Senior GRACosway advisers Caroline Streeter, Nick Howe and Brendan Altadonna have been appointed Partners in the firm's Corporate and Financial Communications practice.

In Canberra, Anna Page has been named Managing Partner of the Public Affairs practice, working alongside long-term Managing Partner Richard King and newly appointed Partner Kirstin Payne.

The firm has also promoted Sarah Coghlan, Stephanie Gheller and Kate Bryant to Senior Director, while Liz Deegan, Joanna Ball and Bill Frith will form a new senior advisory group.

Adding external experience to the leadership team, GRACosway has appointed former journalists and communications executives Andrew White in Sydney and Rick Wallace in Melbourne to senior roles. The firm said both bring experience spanning journalism, listed companies and financial sector communications.

CEO signals firm's next chapter

CEO Kirsten Mulley said the appointments reflected both the firm's leadership pipeline and its ambitions for the future.

“We are thrilled to appoint an experienced and talented group of leaders who have been central to our firm’s success over the past decade.

“Our new partners are all outstanding practitioners who have earned the trust of clients and colleagues through their work on complex and significant projects.

“They will continue to work with our broader advisory team of more than 25 experienced practitioners across our eight offices in Australia and New Zealand,” Kirsten said.

Mulley said the appointments position the firm for its next stage of growth while reinforcing its long-term commitment to developing future leaders.

“GRACosway has a proud history, and I’m delighted that this team who has grown with the business will now shape its future.

“Our clients trust us with their most complex and significant challenges, and our commitment to advancing the next generation of advisers means they will always be in expert hands,” she said.
